Board Members 2011-2012

President - Nathanael Eijbersen
The President is the chairman of the board as well as the primary contact for communication to the board. The President must uphold the school’s vision and ensure school governance is adhered to. The President must demonstrate leadership, and have the ability to communicate well to both staff and parents alike, as well as chair and direct school board meetings effectively.
Secretary - Glen Grunert
The Secretary is responsible for taking meeting minutes and ensuring that the school’s policies and legal issues are in order. The Secretary’s skills should include the ability to generate contracts and documents. The Secretary must have strong administration and record keeping skills.
Treasurer - Michael Rae
The Treasurer is responsible for managing the finances of the school, including preparation of the school budget and directing the accounting of the school. Skills required for this position include an understanding of financial management.
Fundraising - Matt Ardiel
The Fundraiser’s responsibility is to plan, organize and coordinate school fundraising activities to raise funds to help run the school. The Fundraiser must have the ability to demonstrate skills of leadership and delegation. The individual must be positive and motivated to meet or exceed fundraising goals.
Ways and Means - Sam Rae
The Ways and Means Position focuses on ensuring that the school is well maintained. This position requires an ability to manage school maintenance projects.
